Nelsonville (Rising Star) Mill The dam and sawmill were built in 1855 and operated as a business until 1984. The dam was removed in 1988, but the building continues to be maintained by the Portland County Historical Society. Website
Reflections Antiques
A Century Farm Wisconsin's Century Farm program was established in 1948 in conjunction with the state's Centennial. Farms that have been owned by the same family for at least 100 years are eligible for designation as a "century farm." South New Hope Lutheran Church was founded in 1889. Although it is no longer an active congregation, the Wisconsin Historical Society is active in preserving it because of the strong Norwegian influence found in its appointments. Website
Meatball Supper at Nelsonville Lutheran Church. Organized in 1887, the church building was erected in 1888. Website

Hutchinson House Museum Box lunches will be served at this first stop on the tour. Built in 1854 as a farm home, Hutchinson House has been maintained by the local historical society since 1957 Website

Iola Railroad Museum Along with the Railroad depot, a county school and other old buildings have been moved to the grounds. Website
