It’s easy to collect all the information, but it’s hard to get it organized so that you can retrieve it. Basics of how to organize and the purpose of documentation of the information as you find it. Hands on exercise to put together documents for easier retrieval later.

Jerry Paulson has spent twenty years teaching genealogy at Madison Area Technical College and is now working as a researcher at Norwegian American Genealogical Center and Naeseth Library in Madison WI.  Jerry is a native of Madison and his personal research and travels include Germany, Norway and Ireland.  A popular speaker, on numerous topics, Jerry is a member of Dane County Area Genealogy Society and Wisconsin State Genealogical Society and various other ethnic groups (especially Norwegian).
